Mike Drewniak, What a funny Guy he was. All threw high school I was Lucky to be able to call him my friend. When we were freshmen I remember Mike telling me about his Surfing antics at Bay Street. WHAT TALL TAIL'S!!! I finally asked him one day If He thought surfing Bay Street was Hawaii ! He got the biggest Grin & knew I knew he was Embellishing his SURFING Stories ! We both laugh and that was how our friendship Began.After high school we lost touch until our 10 year class reunion.I let him know about my travels and my trouble with drugs and alcohol, at the the time I was 4 months Sober. ( it took me almost 45 years to write this about my dear friend Mike ). He told me that he was glad I was Sober and he had given up all that stuff as he put it too. And he had Cancer and he had be fighting it, and was doing well. Mike Drewniak pass away sometime between August and December of 1981 if its true The Good Die Young Well MIKE was a real GoodGuy & he died Young. .REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND. That's a very niece tribute to Mike! I remember him as one heck of a football player! Very easy going on campus but get him on the football field and he would turn into a beast!
